SPONSORS AS OF FEBRUARY 10, 1996:
The Graduate Student Organization and The Undergraduate Student Government of
the School of Education at New York University. Additional funds have been
solicited from Student Affairs Budget Advisory Committee Council Contingency
Fund for summit sponsorship. Additional sponsorship has been provided by the
Dean's Offices of the School of Education at NYU and by Blackness in Manhood,
Inc., of Brooklyn, NY.
Both student organizations need your support in the form of monetary
sponsorship of breakfasts and lunches, publication of flyers and other
documents as well as person power to ensure successful production of this
historic event. We are still seeking sponsors.
Given the amount of work required to organize and carry out the summit,
sponsoring organizations are asked to commit time and personnel as well as
money. The inclusion and active participation of student organizations
outside NYU is crucial to the success of this summit.
INVITATIONS FOR PANEL POSITIONS, RESPONDENT POSITIONS, AND MODERATORS WILL BE
ISSUED BY FEBRUARY 15, 1996.
Conference proceedings will be published after the conclusion of the
conference and available prior to the end of June, 1996.
