If you can find an old 8088, true IBM, then you can save the file with the
/A switch. This saves the code as an ASCII text and can be loaded with any
basic interperter or compiler program. As I recall, and I am going back at
least 7 years, there were some statements that worked only with the 8088
IBM firmware (The program was built into ROM chips), but I have been able
to convert most programs written in BASICA to GWBASIC, or compiler Basic in
the past.
