I think the basica file was just a pointer to the basic interpreter. I
still have a virtual plethora of basic programs that I use with both
GWBASIC and QBASIC. If you want to use an old program with QBASIC, you
must save the old one in ASCII format. Do this by typing "SAVE (file
name )",A. QBasic of MS Basic will now be able to read the file.
