Frozen screen

I am using Netscape Navigator 2.0 on a Macintosh 6115CD for WWW only, not
for news or mail. I prefer Eudora for mail and Newswatcher for news
becausing these programs have a better way to list the messages. When I
want to read news or mail after using Netscape Navigator, I completely quit
the program before accessing Eudora or Newswatcher. My screen has been
freezing up each time. Today I was reading my mail and the screen froze,
requiring me to reboot the computer. I then got a message saying my In box
was damaged and did I want to rebuild it? I said yes and got messages that
I had trashed long ago that were still apparently on the hard drive.

Is anyone else having this problem? I don't have this with Netscape 1.1N
or 1.2N.
