There are a few professors at Metropolitan State University in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, who have this degree; however, I do not
personally feel this is a very highly regarded degree in the U.S.

However, you may have an advantage in that many U.S. Universities
actively strive to recruit minorities to their teaching staffs.
