Keith--

Even if you found benchmarks, they would have to be analyzed
carefully. For example, the ratio would depend greatly on whether
there was a network capable of monitoring and controlling desktops,
whether you were running a modern OS like WIN95 or Mac System 7 (or a
nightmare like DOS 3.3), the age of the equipment in general, what you
were using the technology for--video production, lots of training,
lots of heavy-duty equipment to maintain--for basic word processing,
easier training, simpler equipment.
