Babe, the movie, was indeed based on the book BABE THE GALLANT PIG by Dick
King-Smith, also titled THE SHEEP-PIG in its original British version. A
terrific book. Another winner is ACE, THE VERY IMPORTANT PIG. Ace is Babe's
grandson.
