Printer Problem

We are using the newest version of Netscape on our home computer (386
with a HP500C Desk Jet Printer). Each time I try to print a file from
the Internet, I end up with a page of black bars resembling a black bar
graph. I've printed many times in our lab at the University with no
problem. At first I thought it was a problem with the company we were
using to access the Internet, however, I tried to print part of the
Netscape Handbook only to end up with the same problem. What have I done
wrong?

Thanks to all who responded to my request for help on "error type 1" and
"password". Both problems were solved. The first problem was solved by
reinstalling the program. The second problem was solved by using disk
tool to reboot the powerbook.
