You had better check with some of the universities at which you would like
to teach before you begin your program! Many universities question the
rigor, content, knowledge base, and lack of immersion in a knowledge
culture found in this type of degree program. Many universities look with
disdain on a terminal degree that does not require a long term residency
component.
