Speaking of teacher training and technology. We all want to help bring
our teachers up to speed with the technology. In most cases taking them
out of the classroom for traditional training doesn't work either because
the teachers don't attend or aren't motivated.

Has anyone tried designing group projects for teachers to work on for
which using some of the technology is necessary? This would model the
process we want teachers to use in the classroom. Another step in this
process would be to design projects for teachers to use with their own
students in their classrooms. This would require that the teachers are
comfortable with students who know as much or more than they do and are
happy to work with them as colleagues in learning.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
