Netscape on non-PowerPC Macs

An introduction: my name is Scott Granneman, and I am the Technology
Coordinator at Crossroads School, a small private school in St. Louis.
We've got a great Mac lab that's in full swing virtually the entire school
day. This list has proven invaluable in keeping that lab running, so
thanks, everyone!

My problem: I am wondering how Netscape 2.0 performs on non-PowerPC Macs.
I've seen it on 5200/75 LCs (the machines at Crossroads) and on a Power100,
Power120, and Power132 (my machines). I've never seen Netscape 2.0 run on
68K Macs, tho. Is there much of a difference? How great is the speed
increase? Is there an increase in stability? (I've found Netscape to be the
most buggy, crash-prone program I've ever seen, even with [a] Netscape
Defrost, [b] 15 MB of RAM allocated to it, and [c] Network Connections
reduced to 2).

Any sharing of experiences or knowledge will be appreciated.

(Just for the record, I encourage all of you to check out Crossroads' Web
site at < http://www.crossroads.st-louis.mo.us/ > and my company's Web
pages at <http://www.webheads.com > and let me know what you think.)

Thanks for the help.
