I did this once with my Apple IIgs and a Mac IIsi. Here is what I found out:
-Turn on File Sharing on the Mac setting up users w/passwords
-Can only use GS/OS programs stored on the mac (no IIe (8 bit) programs)
-You have to install the Appleshare extension on the IIgs (a pain as I
remember)
-Hook up the Appletalk connector on the printer port
-Make sure that slot 1 in the IIgs is set to Appletalk
-Use the chooser from the IIgs to log on to the Mac
-You can print to a Lasterwriter on the Appletalk network
-You lose the printer port for printing to an Imagewriter (use slot 2
and modem port)

It's been about 4 years since I did this. So I must apologize if this
there is more to it.

Hope this helps.
