I talked with apple support today (March 4) and they indicated a type 11
error was a system error and suggested reinstalling the system software.
This I did, so far so good. This diagnosis seems to be in agreement with
Norton Utilities which repeatedly found b-tree errors and volume bit map
errrors. If any one has contrary explanations please post.
P.S. I really suspect this all has to do with Netscape.
