If you can get by without having to purchase a CD-ROM drive now, it might
be well worth it (according to the latest article in PC Magazine/World --
I forget which) because of the new technology of DVD Digital Video
Discs. These will (according to the article) replace our CD-ROM drives
within the next year if not two.

Just my $.02 worth. Also a Ziff-Davis' employee too!
