I also have Works 3.0 on the machine. Trashing this program would mean
trouble because the whole school district uses it as their word processor.
Whenever we send or receive files, they're done in Works 3.0. Other ideas
people have sent have been to turn off virtual memory, and to separate the
Truetype and Postscript fonts. I am anxious to download the new 7.5.2
system that is supposed to be available any time. I read that it addresses
many bugs. Its obvious from others who have the problems that there is
either a bug in the system software of the mother board. We shouldn't be
having all these problems. I've already had a defective video board
replaced by Apple on the 5200. I'm sorry I ever bought the thing. I hear
from others that the other power pcs perform much more nicely.
