In response to Bobbi A. Kerlin concerning the placement of a camera in his
computer lab, I have the following short reply.

As a teacher for 22 years in a public school system, I would not have any
problem with a camera in my classroom. If I have something to say I'll say it
no matter who is there! I would imagine the camera is there to protect the
equipment rather than to stifle the academic freedom of the instructor.

If you are concerned that they will be monitoring your use of the lab. It's
online resources for example, there are many more descrete methods they could
use to catch you if you are "misusing" the media.
