On a Mca, you can use Scott Kleper's HTML-Markdown application. All you do
is drag the HTML file to the app, and it strips the tags. You can download
it from the Info-Mac Archives at:

hyperarchive.lcs.mit.edu/HyperArchive/Archive/text/html/html-markdown-101.hqx
