Hello Richard...

The easiest way I've found to save HTML files as TEXT files is to use
Netscape. It does all of the work for you on the fly!

Hit File, Save As..., and then select TEXT from the pull down menu instead
of SOURCE.

It'll save the Web page you have up on the screen as text and remove all of
the codes.
