Printing Problems -- Performa 450 & HP 660C

I just bought a HP 660C printer and I cannot get it to work with my
Performa 450. I have the printer conected properly to the computer and
the software is loaded. I selected the DW600 icon in the chooser and
followed all the instructions as outlined in the manual. When I try to
print nothing happens.
The next thing I did was to run the HP test function. It worked fine. I
took my printer to work and hooked it up to our LAN. Again, it worked
fine.
Ok, so I know the problem is not the printer but lies within my Performa 450.
The computer works fine otherwise.
I need help guys! Real soon!
