I just saw a demonstration of an Mac product called Intermapper that does
something similiar to this. It's in alpha testing. FTP it at
FTP.dartmouth.edu

It diagrams your network, shows which parts of the network aren't working,
etc. It might do more than this, but I was impressed with diagram alone.

Something else you might want to consider...IPSWITCH from Internetworking
Software Solutions. It is a simple monitoring tool mentioned in that same
