It is inappropriate to compare your so-called "real world" with what
is right. USA companies tend to prefer the _lowest common denominator_
rather than what works for education.
Let's not cripple our children with the unfortunate choices of
office drones.

Only if you count games. Otherwise, there is no significant difference
between them for _productive_ and useful programs.
