Dear Wonderful WWW Teachers;
I am a doctoral student at Vanderbilt University in the Department of
Special Education and I'm conducting a survey of teachers who use the WWW in
their classrooms. I am seeking volunteers who teach K-12 in either public
or private schools and use the WWW for curriculum planning and
implementation. The purpose for doing this research is to find out the
different ways in which teachers across the country are using the World Wide
Web in their classrooms. The intent of this survey is to; (a) find
similarities and differences in curriculum use of the World Wide Web by
teachers who employee it as a tool within the classroom, (b) find out if
particular subject domains lend themselves better to use of the World Wide
Web, (c) find out if certain age groups are more likely to use of the World
Wide Web, and (d) find out the most prominent use of the World Wide Web
within classrooms.
If you are interested in being a part of this research -
http://peabody.vanderbilt.edu/courses/spring_96/calhoon/, will link you. It
is self- explanatory, but if you have any questions please feel free to
contact me at Calhoomb@ctrvax.vanderbilt.edu. I will make the results of
the survey available, if you are interested please e-mail me with your
request and I will make sure you receive them.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration in this matter.
