Andrzej,
The easiest way for you and your friend to exchange files if for you
to call his modem from your modem. You'll both need to have a
communications program (such as ProComm). You'll also have to make sure
the software settings (modem speed, terminal emulation, file transfer
protocol, etc.) are synchronized. Your friend's computer will act as
the host, and you can then upload or download files.
