We also have tried to avoid paying premium IBM prices and have been
purchasing Gateway 2000 machines for five years.

Our experience has been very positive with their equipment and ongoing
technical support. We are only @150 miles from Sioux City but have never
had to rely on their onsite service. We only purchase @ 4 machines per
year but again, we have been satisfied.

We currently have 14 Gateways in our high school and have replaced one
hard drive and repaired one monitor. I have also been able to teach many
different Microsoft packages to my students because of the large amount
of software that comes with each Gateway.

I often think I should send Gateway a bill for my personal advertisements!

Hope this helps!
