Dells, Gateways, Compaqs or Microns?

Any schools using DELLS GATEWAYS cOMPAQS or MICRONS? I'm trying to get
away from paying a premium on IBMS. However, I want to make sure they are
reliable and so proprietary that upgrades and repairs get ridiculous.
