There is a book called: Mac & Power Mac Secrets (3rd Edition) by Pogue and
Schorr IDG Books ISBN: 1-56884-791-2 .

Chapter 4 deals exclusively with Control Panels and Extensions. It contains
a multitude of helpful hints and secrets.

This book is loaded with all kinds of nifty things and even comes with a
CD ROM!
