I find this happens when I click too fast between web pages. Even though my
screen shows a whole page the whole page is not properly loaded in memory
and doesn't save at all or is only saved partly. I have tried to slow
myself down and allow pages to load fully before going to the next page. I
also find this happening when I have been surfing for a while and my cache
is getting full. I try to close my browser about once per hour and reboot
the whole system so I have a good amount of RAM to work with. This may or
may not help. I also use Netscape 1.12 when I want to use ERIC so the files
do load properly. I have saved a copy of it on my hard drive even though it
does take up disk space. I think Netscape is aware of the failure of
Netscape 2.X and up to load ERIC search information properly. Hope this
helps.
