There is a recall from Apple concerning your battery problem. My sister
just went through this with Apple with her Perfoma 5200 CD. Your system,
along with the 5200 series ALL have defective ROM's which draw too much
currert, and thus kill the battery within a year. Call your Apple
dealer...they may act dumb about this, but be persistant. They will fix
your system for FREE.
