Any money is more than you had. Any success leads to greater credibility.
Any project, even partially done, separates money from pockets better
than no progress on the project. Your parents and staff will be more
amenable to your greater plans if they can have a taste - is it possible,
perhaps, that whetting your interest was the initial goal of the $500.00?
I am in my 3rd year at a small Catholic school and we have gone from
old Apples to donated XT's and AT's to a few multimedia computers with
Internet connections - based on the above expressed philosophies. Next
fall I am dong an independent study, for 3 credits, on how to create a
technology program on a shoestring...
