I use the analogy of 'tacking into the wind' in sailing in the grants
workshop (did I hear someone say 'grant-sucking' earlier?): to get
where you are going you will have to navigate in a less than straight
line. Rather than waiting for Ed McMahon to show up on your doorstep,
take every opportunity to add to the technology already available in
your school.
