If you stay with "classic networking" it will work the same as it always
has. If you update to OpenTransport, you'll need to make a few changes
(probably upgrade your PPP and get familiar with the new TCP/IP control
panel). You control which networking technology you want to use through
the Network Software Selector application that the update will install in
your Apple Extras folder. By default, it will stay with whatever you were
using before the update.
