I'm studying commercial science at VLEKHO-Brussels in Belgium (That teeny
weeny little country which you can hardly see on a world map!). In the third
year we can chose between several options. I opted for business information
systems because I think there is a lot of future in this sector. My final
dissertation will talk about the possible applications of digital
information technologies (CD-ROM, CD-i, Internet, VR, ...) in economic
higher education.
I'd be very pleased if you could describe me some projects where they teach
economic courses by means of CD-ROMs, the Internet, etc. If you know some
good WWW-addresses with papers or projects concerning my subject, please let
me know.
At the moment I'm following a traineeship of six weeks in the Netherlands.
The company produces multimedia CD-ROMs for different customers (training
companies, schools, universaties, government). My task is to analyse the
testing results of an interactive course accountancy on CD-ROM.
The company plans to build a multimedia room and they asked me what would be
the best way to organize such a room. Should the computers be organized in a
U-shape? Is this shape also good for making examinations? I appreciate your
comments!
