Save-as in Netscape

Greetings,
For the first time I am unable to use the "save-as" command with
netscape. If I find an article I want to save-- I choose save-as and I
get the regular dialog box on my mac screen asking me where I want to
save it. Then it starts to the next step with the Save inbox bar yet
nothing happens after that and the bar does not go away. Please advise.
