Technology in Education Department
The College of Education will be accepting applicants for anticipated
tenure track positions in the Technology in Education Department.
Qualifications: Earned doctorate in appropriate area of study preferred.
Knowledge of Macintosh and Windows platforms; public/private K-12 teaching
experience; experience in presenting technology-related staff development
workshops to K-12 teachers as well as university faculty focused on
integrating technology into the K-12 curriculum; expertise in using
educational software, multi-media, telecommunications, programming,
applications software, and hardware maintenance/repair; ability to
contribute to the institution through internal and external service;
commitment to research and scholarship.
This tenure-track position is open to beginning and experienced faculty.
Teaching load involves teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.
National-Louis University offers a Masters of Education, Masters of Science
in Education degrees or Certificate of Advanced Study in the Technology in
Education Department. Graduate and undergraduate students in the Elementary
Education Department enroll in at least one Technology in Education course
as part of their pre-service program. Technology in Education can be an
area of minor concentration within the Doctor of Education program in
Instructional Leadership.
