This is a too common story, someone wishes to return to work after
rearing children and they are punished for it.
My wife took 25 years off to have kids and rear them (yes, we have a
large family). Now that she wants to get back into the classroom, she
cannot get a job because she is 51 years old. She been to several
interviews, did very well (according to my well placed inside sources),
yet in every case some very young teacher was hired instead.
Helen, the world is not fair but never give up for you must always remember
that good will always win out over evil in the long run.
