Try looking at Chancery Software's "Marks" program. It is a part of
their Mac School (or Thesis) program, but can be used independaently from
the rest. It maintains chigh numbers of students per class. It give the
user the option of of how the grades are calculated.... weighting of
tests more than quizzes, etc. IT generates many useful reports either
individually or on the group. It can go so far as to give the group norm
per activity !
