You are not alone! I am raking around for similar material...basically
what I have established (in my own mind at least) is that the Internet
supports collaborative learning and constructivist practises.
> place but am unable to find any quantitative or qualitative studies to
> prove the point.
There does not appear to be any quantitative material after all how do
you quantify collaborative learning? How do you assess it? Qualitative
material is also rare.
There are visionary articles around....Educating Jessica is one of them
contained on the Jostens' Learning Web site.
There is also a huge repository of teacher resources on the NSTA Web site
which address the american national curriculum for science.
It is a wonderful first stop for anyone shooping around for material
which will support the various learning objectives.
If you find anything please share it!
