Classroom teachers are VERY interested, speaking as one myself, in
integrating these, when they get the chance to do so, (enough lab time),
when there are enough of them to go round.

These tools can be used in all areas of the curriculum, Math, LA, Science,
Socials you name it, it can be applied if the will and opportunity is there.
If students have access to the Internet/Web this can be beautifully applied
to the G5/6 Social Studies curriculum here in BC.

Any type of written work can be produced on a computer. Young students can
learn how to operate a computer very well, better than many adults, even
rudimentary skills, such as using a mouse. There are a few basic tech
skills that need to be introduced, but after that..............
