Tobin,
A great way to learn about extensions is to get the program called Conflict
Catcher. This program takes the place of Apple's Extension Manager. It
has resources in the program which explains what most extensions are used
for. In addition, of course, it is a great way to manage your extensions.

Another great way to learn about extensions is to upgrade to System 7.5.3
using Update 2.0. When you do this, you get 3 great docs on what is in
your Control Panel, What is in your Extensions folder, and what is in your
System folder. If you want me to send you these 3 files via E-mail, I
would be glad to - they are sitting on my hard drive, and I refer to them
occassionally - let me know.
