Does any one have an answer to a problem that I am having with a Macintosh
7500 and Open Transport. We use a dialup service with a local phone number
for our Internet access. I went to ConfigPPP and put in all the necessary
information(phone number, name and password, etc.)
Then I went to the TCP/IP panel to fill it in and I think that I have set
it correctly by choosing to use PPP and to select the manual entry on it..
When I return to configPPP panel, it will dial and say that it is UP, but
does not find the local homepage with Netscape 1.1N. I then tried several
other homepages and addresses, but continually get a message that the ISD
address can't be found. I must be missing something somewhere and would
appreciate any help from Macintosh 7500 users.
TIA
Wayne
