Herzog is an instructional system that uses any word processor on any
computer. It is not software. There are *hub* caps to put on keys D, K, 3,
and 8 which become the anchor keys rather than keeping the fingers on the
traditional home keys. This allows the wrists to be at a healthier angle to
help prevent carpel tunnel syndrome from developing. The hub keys also help
students to know if they are on the correct keys without looking at the
keys.

There are two levels of instructional materials: elementary and secondary.
Student books have a program of daily exercises and lessons. Helpful
teacher guides are included.

Once students have completed the program, it is appropriate to switch over
to a software keyboarding program for continued skills development.

I've been impressed with the research that the Herzog's have done to
develop an effective keyboarding program that works for any age for initial
keyboard instruction.
