We also have a LC 5200. I ran the diagnostic from Apple. There was not
defect. By far the most common reason for trouble with MACs are extension
conflicts. Run the computer in question for awhile with only the 7.5
extensions on. That will probably give you a good indication if there
really is a hardware or software problem. If you are using extension from
File Saver, Speed Doubler or Ram Double they are often likely candidates
for conflicts.
TyAnn, what type of a network are you on. Is the network Apple, NT,
etc. Perhaps, the problem is with the sever if it is not Apple Talk or
local talk.
