It won't work Larry. Even if you could get concurrent sessions of
the software running, you would confuse the heck out of your
communications, especially with the mail client. You would be
attempting to access a single mail account (assuming a dial-up
single-user account) from multiple sessions.
Also, where is your modem. If it's on the server, you can't directly
access it from standard client software. If it's on the workstation,
then only that workstation can connect...... Many, many problems.
I guess the only viable network solution is the router route.
