Beleive it or not, every LC 5200/75 that we purchased falls within the
serial number range as possibly defective. We've had our problems with this
model. The diagnostic utility can be found at the following URL.
http://www.info.apple.com
Once there, the path to the file is:
apple software updates/US/Macintosh/utilities
the file is
52XX/62XX diagnostic.util
It is a self-extracting application and it will check your machine to see if
you actually have the problem. Apple has stated they will replace any logic
boards found to be defective.
