External Storage Device

After having to replace my hard drive on my machine and borrow and
external hard drive to maintain my files, I am considering purchasing an
external hard drive, ZIP drive, or some other type of external storage
device to use for backup and to use for presentations. I need advice on
what would give me the most storage space for the least amount of money.
Our dealer recommended the EZ-135 Removable Drive, but I am still partial
to a regular external hard drive. Please give me any suggestions on what
