Sound Blaster problem

I recently upgrade my 486 33Mhz to a Pentium 75 MHz. Everything seems to
work fine but the Sound Blaster card. The problem that occurs is that when
exiting windows and AOL the computer locks up. After running some test it
seems the problem is DMA channel. The test say that channel one is being
used by some other card or software but do not identify it. The Sound
Blaster manual says that the DMA channel can not be changed. The I/O
address is 220Hex which does not conflict and the IRQ is 7 which also does
not conflict. Any ideas on how to solve the problem would be a great help.
