Online Service Billing Problems

I was wondering if any of you have had problems like I recently had
with an online service. I have been an AOL member for years and
received a free trial membership with another online service. Tried
it in July and canceled it . Heard nothing until 1/17/96 when I
received a letter about a past due bill that claimed I had been
previously billed and not paid for services from the company. I never
received a bill ar any other communication from the company. I'm not
sure if someone else used my address and name or if the company is
trying to pull a fast one.
If any of you are getting bills for things you didn't use, order or
get please let me know. If it is common I will see about contacting
the Attorny General.
