Hypercard 2.0 and 5200/75LC's

I've used Hypercard 2.0 in my classroom for a number of years on all
kinds of Macs from Classis to PowerMac 6100/60AV's with no problems to
speak of. I now have access to a new 5200/75LC. When running Hypercard
2.0, I get the dreaded "Application 'unknown' has unexpectedly quit
because an error of type 1 occured". Does this mean a Hypercard upgrade
is in order? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
