Disk doubler and other on the fly compression programs work well with fast
processors - at least a 68030 or better. I think the LCIII's qualify.
However, they is still a performance hit; I'd think Pagemaker would be hit
the worst. Since you can get external 730kb drives for under $300 I'd add
the extra drives that way. When the 80's finally fail, you can toss them
and put these inside and then have some cabinets for other drives.
