Mac Statistical System

One of my friends brought a statistic software package "Mac Statistical
System". It was made by StatSoft in 1987. The program works on Mac
Classic II and Mac Plus. When he tried to run this program on Mac LC 630
it says an Error of Type 3 has occurred. He wrote to the company, but
never get responses. Is that company still in business? Anybody knows
how to solve this problem?
He is also interested in buying another software package "Statistica".
He needs more information about the package and the information where to
make the order.
